Dielectric and protective ceramic sealant for fibrous products used to enhance the superficial resistance of specific materials in order to use them for the passage of liquid aluminum. Made out of shredded ceramic fibers and inorganic bonding agent, once dried down it hardens becoming resistant to the erosion of a lot of chemical components and extremely resistant to high temperatures (from 1200°C up to 1600°C). This type of ceramic has great insulating properties and an excellent resistance to thermal shocks. The resistance to most non-ferrous liquid metals’ adhesion allows this cement to be used as cover for a large array of porous and non-porous materials. Ready-to-use, easy and fast to prepare and apply.
