Thermal insulation materials
Moldable, easy to use, insulating, they can cover any type of shape adapting perfectly to create the desired thickness.
They have excellent mechanical resistance properties to shocks and vibrations.
They are incombustible and waterproof, they do not require prefabrication of shapes.
INSUL.COIB FIRE BOX
FireBox® textile covers have been designed for passive fire protection of the individual components of the system. FireBox® are effective fire protection systems, made with custom-made, moldable and removable textile coverings.
They are flexible systems designed and built to promote the protection of critical components within systems such as actuators, valves, ducts, tanks and wiring and facilitate their operation for a specified period of time in case of fire. Not only do the FireBox® protect the components, but they limit the rapid deterioration caused by time and atmospheric agents, preventing the occurrence of greater damage to the system and to people.
This product meets the most stringent specifications of the chemical/petrochemical industry such as UL1709 Rapid Rise Fire Test, Type Approval Certificate, Jet Fire Test from 30 to 120 min. and Blast Test 4 bar. For this reason, the FireBox® are particularly suitable for onshore and offshore installations such as refineries, platforms, petrochemical plants and in thermal power plants where it becomes an effective protection tool for all the equipment and devices that control and manage the plants.
- Fire resistant
- Designed and built for specific needs, in sizes and shapes according to the instruments to be protected
- Easy to install and remove because it does not require specific tools and specialized personnel
- No system shutdown is required for installation
- Excellent thermal insulation
- • Durable in critical environments, in the presence of aggressive substances, saltiness, sudden changes in temperature and bad weather. It can therefore be applied both indoors and outdoors
Fire Box® covers have passed the most severe passive fire resistance tests, in accordance with UL 1709, OTI 95634 and ISO 22899-1 standards..
After the first 120 minutes in the oven at over 1100 ° C (UL 1709), the Fire Box® was intact and capable of still offering the passive resistance to fire for which it was designed. Even during the combined fire-pressure tests, protection is guaranteed (ISO 22899-1).
