Glass fiber or silica felts, raw or laminated: the lamination is made with a meshed aluminum foil to improve their resistance to cutting and high temperatures and to reduce fraying. These materials are soft, bulky, and elastic and consequently easy to handle, drill, cut and install.

These felts can be used for thermal insulation and protection of various components, in the field of soundproofing and for the creation of various products.

GLASS FIBER FELTS

Glass fiber felts are composed of silica and alumina oxides. Extremely resistant to high working temperatures, usable for both electrical and acoustic insulation. In addition, inorganic, non-combustible, low density and resistant to vibrations and abrasion.

These products are available in different thicknesses (from 4 to 25 mm), both raw and in the “AL” version (laminated with aluminum foil) or “KAR” (caramelized).

SILICA FIBER FELTS

Silica fibers felts, composed of 98% silica oxides. Chemically stable, excellent for both electrical and acoustic insulation.

The diameter of the silica fibers gives these felts excellent characteristics of elasticity and resistance to compression, making them resistant to vibrations and abrasion.
