Range of moldable insulators for high temperatures, suitable for various types of applications including: the covering of pipes and system components, applications in the automotive sector and where protection against high and low temperatures, liquids and gases is required.

VR 100

The VR100® insulating system, in compliance with the ATEX directives, stems from the market’s need to obtain a malleable insulation, resistant to high temperatures (up to 800°C).

Thanks to the VR100® system, gases and liquids can be transmitted and/or expelled without the nearby areas being thermally compromised. The installation requires qualified personnel capable of adapting the material to any shape.

Suitable for exhaust manifolds, flanges, valves, systems, and similar parts with complex shapes found inside engines and turbochargers of vehicles and shipbuilding. Can also be used in other industrial sectors.

The system is based on the inorganic insulating compound VR100®, a class A1 fire-retardant paste. This compound, together with a non-combustible fabric (CLASS A1), can be applied directly to the metal part that needs insulation. Different layers and thicknesses vary based on the desired surface temperature.A paint finish is available (gray or black) resistant to high temperatures up to 800°C.

GC 50

GC50 is a new self-curing plastic compound capable of quickly wrapping duct and pipe systems and effectively promoting thermal insulation and protection, especially in the presence of high temperatures. Thanks to its versatility, GC50 is extremely easy to apply compared to more classic insulation systems and is just as easy to remove in case inspections. The product crosslinks above 60°C becoming compact and elastic, it is also waterproof, weather-proof, and resistant to UV rays. GC50 consists of a special mixture of water-repellent silicone rubber.

The material is self-curing allowing it to create a very effective barrier against heat, especially in applications with high temperatures: for example, in the case of heating systems and plumbing systems.

GC50 has many advantages and benefits:

  • Minimizes heat dissipation
  • Reduces workplace accidents by limiting the risk of burns
  • Resists atmospheric agents and UV rays
  • Easy to install and remove
  • • Repairable without the need for additional adhesive components
  • It has a low thermal conductivity (λ), of only 0.08 W / (mK).

It is eco-friendly, recyclable, and usable in respect of the environment because it does not contain harmful volatile substances

INSUL.WRAP®

Insul.Wrap® is a system for the thermal insulation of exhaust manifolds, designed to control the temperature of the ducts in diesel engines. This type of insulation is applicable to a wide range of products where it is necessary to combine efficient thermal insulation, stability of the insulation itself and resistance to water, oils, and UV rays.

The Insul.Wrap® system is mainly composed of two products: a special insulating layer and an external protection tape.

The inner layer is composed of a high thermal insulation product covered with a thermo-reflective film, while the outer layer is made of a self-sealing elastomer resistant to high temperatures.

The combination of these materials allows the support to be elongated, preventing it from slipping once in place and keeping the internal layer protected.

Insul.Wrap® can be applied in several layers (on average three), depending on the operating temperature of the product on which it is applied and with different variations, should the temperatures be particularly high.

This product is classified Flame Retardant with reference to UL 94 V-0
